Within walking distance of Indiana Borough, Indiana Gateway Plaza, is a new a commercial/retail plaza built on the eastern edge of downtown Indiana, PA. The plaza has been developed by MFP Enterprises, a real estate development company and retail space is available for lease. Space #2 is built out to a vanilla shell and ready for occupancy. The property was designed by engineering firm, Red Swing Group, and architect, Zilka & Associates. CAVCON, was the general contractor for the project.
Indiana Gateway Plaza is located in a very underserved area of Indiana, PA. Situated at the edge of the downtown, the plaza attracts overflow foot traffic from downtown Indiana but also provide on-site parking that is not available to the downtown retail tenants.
The 8,800 square foot plaza is at the corner of Philadelphia and Fourth Streets at a signalized intersection. This hybrid commercial use property allows for both foot traffic from Indiana Borough and Indiana University Campus, as well as provides ample onsite parking for shoppers.
Not only is Indiana Gateway Plaza located in a high foot traffic area, this busy intersection is situated on the corner of Main Street that runs E/W through Indiana Borough, and Fourth Street. Traffic goes north to the high school and country club, and connects many of the smaller communities to the east and north of Indiana resulting in a high traffic count. A Sheetz convenience store and Rite Aid Pharmacy are located on the opposite side of the intersection.
